Azerbaijan had been represented by the national pavilion at one of the world's largest ICT exhibitions on Turkey, the countries of South-East Asia and the Black Sea region - CeBIT Bilisim Eurasia. 

Cebit Bilisim Eurasia - 2011 was held in Istanbul on October 6-9. The main objectives of the national pavilion were to present the Azerbaijani economy, the latest achievements and projects realized in the ICT field. 

The information about the projects of creating a regional innovation zone and launching the first national telecommunication satellite Azerspace, introducing ICT in education and other fields were demonstrated on the stands. The achievements of private IT-companies had been met by visitors with great interest. 

"E-government", innovations, financial sector, "e-health" and others were the traditional spheres at the exhibition.
